Booking and Cancellation Policy for Group Reservations


The main elements of the terms

  • These conditions do not apply in full to group bookings (more than 9 people), seasonal bookings (e.g. for reservations made through Ilosaarirock) or through booking services (e.g. Booking.com).
  • Cancellation policy for bookings of up to 3 nights two days before the announced date of arrival, by 18:00. If cancelled or cancelled late, the total price of the reservation will be charged. For
  • bookings of more than 3 nights, cancellations are free of charge at least 15 days prior to the start date of booking. After that, 50% of the value of the reservation will be charged. Less than 2 days before the full value of the reservation will be charged.
  • The standard check-in time is from 16:00 to 21:00 and the room must be handed over by 12:00 on the day of departure. Check-in may be subject to a price-list surcharge.
  • The arrival time must be notified in advance. If the time of arrival is not indicated, then after 18:00 the reservation can be considered cancelled.
  • Payment is made primarily upon arrival at the property. Please note, in addition to the accommodation price, towels and bed linen fees, as well as additional charges for accommodation outside opening hours.
  • The reservoir is responsible for the persons covered by the reservation and for any damage caused by them. The
  • hostel has the right to remove disruptive persons without returning the accommodation fee and to charge any costs arising from the removal.
  • The hostel is not responsible for the property of the guest

Scope and specific conditions

These conditions apply to reservations made by private individuals at accommodation establishments. However, these terms do not apply to bookings made by individuals if the reservation is made for a group of more than 9 persons. These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly to the tourist accommodation.



Reservations of less than 9 persons are also excluded in cases where:

  • Reservations made through external booking services such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com. For these reservations, the booking conditions set by the relevant booking channel will apply.
  • Special terms and conditions different from these terms apply for special season, holidays or special offer.
  • In particular, the cancellation clause may be limited by a lower price than normal.

In the cases excluded above, the different terms are imposed to the extent that they are more restrictive than those conditions. To the extent not expressly specified in the other terms, these terms apply.

2. Booking and confirmation

When making a reservation, guests must indicate their name, residence address, telephone number, time of arrival and departure and method of payment. The time of arrival is also required to indicate the time of arrival.

The reservation will be binding upon confirmation in oral or written form. The property may make the booking a booking fee or a credit card to confirm the reservation.

3. Customer arrival and departure

Arrival at the property is possible within the specified opening hours. In particular, during the winter season (1 September to 31 May), the tourist accommodation may require a more detailed arrival time as there are no staff at the property. Arrivals outside the standard check-in time (16-21) will be subject to a surcharge according to the price list.

The room must be handed over by 12:00 on the day of departure. unless otherwise agreed.

The

room will be reserved for the guest until 18:00. if the customer has not specified the time of arrival. After that the property may consider the reservation to be cancelled.

4. Cancellation and non-arrival

Conditions

that are stricter than these cancellation terms may apply 1. in the cases limited by paragraph 1.

If a customer or a person in the same accommodation reservation has, in connection with previous lodgings, substantially violated these booking terms or hotel policies, reserve the right to not to accept or cancel new bookings by the customer made by new reservations. The tourist accommodation also has the right to remove the customer in such situation from their premises at any time during accommodation.

Guests

can cancel a room reservation for up to 3 nights at no later than 2 days before the date of arrival in the booking by 18:00. In case of no-show, the property has the right to charge the total price of the reservation plus tax.

A reservation for more than 3 nights can be cancelled free of charge 15 days before the start date of the reservation. If cancelled after that, 50% of the amount of the reservation will be charged for the period when the room is not resold. If guests cancel their booking for more than 3 nights less than 2 days before the start date of booking and the room cannot be resold, the full value of the reservation will be charged.

5. Payments

The guest pays for the room upon arrival at the accommodation in connection with or in advance. It is possible to deviate from this when agreed separately. In addition to the accommodation price, please note possible towel and bed linen fees, and additional fees for accommodation outside opening hours.

The accommodation will reduce the possible pre-paid the reservation fee for the final room bill. If the customer cancels their booking in violation of the cancellation policy, the tourist accommodation has the right to keep the guest made by the booking fee.

If, respectively, the customer has canceled the room in accordance with the cancellation policy, the tourist accommodation is obliged to return the reservation fee paid to the customer, except for office expenses.

If the tourist accommodation has incurred costs special services or arrangements ordered by the customer, such as: for example, party decorations, reservation of other spaces necessary for order, preparing for special diets, etc., the customer must compensate for them costs incurred by the tourist accommodation. The tourist accommodation can deduct the said costs a booking fee to be refunded to the customer.

The customer has the right to cancel the reservation at no cost and to recover the booking fee paid if it would be unreasonable to charge it regardless of the cancellation or non-arrival of the customer. In this case, it is serious illness, serious accident, death or other unexpected and serious event such as an apartment from the fire. A close person is considered to be a married and cohabiting partner, a child, a parent, in-laws, siblings, grandchildren, grandparents or travel companion whose with accommodation is agreed in the same room. However, the tourist accommodation has the right to deduct from the refundable amount office expenses.

After confirmation of the reservation, the tourist accommodation shall not have the right to increase or, accordingly, be obliged to reduce the agreed price. The exception is the changes in taxes and other public charges, insofar as they could not be taken into account when the booking confirmation is made. However, the tourist accommodation shall not increase the agreed accommodation price during the 21 days preceding the date of booking. If the increase in the price of the accommodation is more than 10% after booking, the customer has the right to cancel the reservation at no cost. The guest must inform the tourist accommodation of the cancellation of the reservation within one week of receiving information about the increase.

The property has the right to make credit and debit card holders at the time of booking and pre-authentication from the card. Credit card prepayment may be charged at the time of booking. a reasonable booking fee. In case of non-refundable reservations, the property may: charge the card for the entire amount of the accommodation price.

If the tourist accommodation has not carried out prior verification, The property has the right to charge upon check-in a reasonable guarantee to cover any additional costs.
